Characteristics：
Silica sol is a kind of ivory-white colloid which is formed by nanometer—grade particles SiO2，dispersed in water,nontoxic and odorless. Its molecular formular is mSiO2．nH2O; SiO2 colloid particles are very fine, colorless and transparent. With bigger specific surface of Si02 colloid particles，silica sol is widely used in precision casting，papermaking，textile and coating industries as inorganic adhesive and it is also used for catalyst and skidproof agent.

Use Description：
Used in precision casting of thin covers to have the cover strength increased and to have the casting smooth finish improved;
Used as the adhesive agent for various fireproof materials. It has high bonding strength and high temperature(around 1500℃)-resistance performance; Used in coating industry for having paint firmed, It also possesses features, such as anti-contamination, dustproof, anti-aging, fireproof, etc.; Used to replace ethyl silicate for moulding so as to reduce the cost and improve the operating conditions and also its molding quality is better than that of water glass. Used in papermaking industry as anti-sticking agent of cellophane paper, pre-treatment agent of photographic paper and skidproof agent of cement bag, etc; used as sizing agent in textile industry, when used together with oil agent to process wool and rabbit hair, it can help improve the spinnability of wool and rabbit hair, reduce broken ends, prevent flying, thus improve the finished product rate and increase the economic returns.Used as the treatment agent of silicon steel sheet, dispersing agent of kinescopes and skidproof agent of floor waxes, etc. |
