Solid sodium silicate is light bluish lumpy or translucent glass-shape or granular material. Sodium Silicate turns into a slight-colored transparent or translucent viscous liquid. Its molecular formular is Na2O·mSiO2.
Usage:
1) it is a basic raw material for such various silicate-type products as silica gel, white carton black, zeolite molecular sieve;
2) It is indispensable material for such detergents as washing powder and soap, etc in light industry and also it is a Water Softener and Precipitant Aid;
3) It is used for dyeing assistant,bleaching and sized yarn in textile industry.
4) It is widely used for casting,grinding wheel making and metal preservative, etc. in mechanical industry;
5) It is used for making acid-resistant cement waterproof oil, soil solidifying agent,fireproof material, quick-drying cement,etc. in construction industry;
6) It is used for making silicon fertilizer in agricultural field;
